It only seems as bad because the most obvious effect - the count down starting at 5 - is still the same.
Other than that, the effect is completely reversed, raising your trance resistance rather than lowering it, and actually completely negating most Trance effects - you still get the count down, but most Trance effects just won't cause you to lose turns any more even when you hit 0.
Also some enemies (Sophia) do really powerful attaxks when you are fully Tranced. So starting at 5 is still dangerous and is something to keep in mind. Also get all the perks and a special candybar, just for you. It's the only correct way to play XD
Update 25.7 appeared to have bricked victory scenes added in monster addition. Victory scenes added in monster addition doesn't fire up, but I copy/pasted the exact code into the original monster file it works perfectly.
I cant get the game to boot, it loads the splashscreen and shows the "this is an adult game" bla bla for a second or so before crashing. Tried through Itch.io launcher at first and then standalone because i had problems with the launcher launching games before but no dice. Logs also aren't very helpful the last message is just that it wont use my XBOX Controller since its in the blocklist but thats it.
I found having the harpy hire me for the night to be really funny! I'm guessing this is somewhat new, because I've been playing the game for a long while and never saw it before 25.7 (or was just EXTREMELY unlucky) but both options are really fun for different reasons - and I love how everyone assumes something other than what really happened for either option! Gonna need to be on the lookout for succubi for a few days :P
It seems to be a rare thing - and that's on the latest version, 25.7. Maybe it's only available at certain times, or if there's nothing else going on. Either way, both "cuddle" and "play" options are really funny! Hopefully you can get to it soon!
Been playing for a while and got to the Dark Perpetua fight, ended up using a bunch of manticore spikes to beat her, but it seems afterward I still have the corruption sigil on me long after the fight. Is there any way to remove it in game or is it just bugged?
uh thats bugged, you should not have that past the fight, maybe try sleeping at the inn will fix it? But do that on a new save if you have a file from before the fight
Haven't been able to load up the last two game versions. Every time I do, it comes up with an issue. Seems to be from line 3 of the moddownloadthread file. Not sure what to do to fix it or what the issue is. I'm not running any mods.
Its a good game...but I would say that tips wouldn't hurt. I been continuously trying to complete the Labyrinth, but I can't due to the spiking difficulty. Maybe allow us to buy a trinket that allows us to see better on the third floor.
Yes, the last floors of the labyrinth are difficult, it took me a couple of tries to remember the location of everything. However, this is not your first or second dungeon...don't expect a tutorial that will explain every little detail to you. Expect some kind of challenge.
If you still have difficulties, just lvl up a few times and beat it with brute force.
Hell...you could copy the maze on a piece of paper (I thought about it) but I didn't need it in the end.
I've been playing this game on and off for months now and I just now noticed how the Comet Highway battle song sounds similar to the song Closer by Ne-Yo. Mainly only in the beginning but Comet Highway is like a sped up Closer 16 seconds into the song. Either way, love the game. Keep up the amazing work!

hey, I used to own the game, lost it when I got a new computer. I decided to hold off until we get our first actual taste of the Capital. So, out of curiosity, how far off is that?
Probably one of the better nsfw games on the site, a decent learning curve, good character art, funny/good dialogue, and certain enemies increasing in difficulty the more you fight them (example: fight slime girl, win a few times and their sensitivity will change and will learn new moves) plot is pretty funny and relatable, a very cool church mechanic where you get moves that slowly get stronger via donations, multiple paths to take for stats, tons of ways to grind (the exp to clarify) when you clear a stage you can go back and customize it to your liking, a friggin modding community which makes the game EXTREMELY versatile. TL:DR good game, very interesting and extremely customizable game, and great art.
Closest right now appears to be a perk you get from spending too much time with the Mantangoes in the Forest Dungeon. But that's just a small alteration to your character, not a full on transformation.
The lore talks about human women being transformed into monster girls. Would be cool to have a scene where that actually happens.

maybe im profesionally dumb(wouldnt put it past me) but i dont see is anywere in the lab. i even beat the labby twice on normal and nightmare to no avail. double checked all the floors on the regular and talked to the npcs as well. can you tell me what you do to get to it or something
nvrmind got it. backed up my save to before the perpetua fight and it all good all fuctional now. think i know what caused it. a few updates ago my game would act like events that have trigered hadnt before( like me meeting bar minitour again). guess my game acted like the first fight never happed while also unlocking events after wards

Realy fun game, amazing art, unfortunately its too hard for me i am not really smart, i willnever finish the second level so i prefer to stop here and delete the game, after 30 hours i am just at the impossible labyrinth.
She moves back if you move towards her, just not around corners, I overleveled though but when I was fighting her most of the time I ran from the fights, or used a holy skill

Sleeping did nothing, reloaded a save from before the fight and beat her and it went away. Hope this bug isn't a common occurence

Still pretty barebones. A boss fight which serves as introduction to the Capital and a couple of scenes, if I recall correctly.

The game destroyed all my saves so I have to start from the start, and I was level 150+
Please fix the android version because it is unplayable. The bugs won't even let you enter sometimes.

Using a power build is very good to start
Labyrinth enemies have specific kinks...
And also a headpat will give you an opening for escape so learn the holy headpat.
That or get a decent Level on one skill like Technique.
