Yes, there is a console built into renpy, the game's engine, with commands like what you're looking for. You have to enable it in the config files before you can use it. Details can be found on the wiki, here.
Question does the update role out even do for an example i downloaded the game during v27.2a it still updates to the current change log right? (Please clarify me)
Overall it's a game I've been really enjoying! Feels very indepth and has a lot of parts that are solid. I have encountered a strange error though. After arriving at the Monster Capitol, any option I select outside of "Leave the Capitol" gives me the message of "event broke." followed by "You returned to town" where it then puts me back at the town square. I've tried loading saves and reinstalling the game, but the same issue pops up again. This is happening on specifically the up to date Mac version.
For the level drain parlor, we get warned that there is a high risk of developing an addiction or things like that, has that been implemented yet or at all? What do I need to do to get it? I've tried feeding her 100 levels and that didn't do anything to proc an addiction perk/debuff/event

I found this in the addictionList.json. So it's likely a planned feature, but not implemented yet
Edit: Digging through the event, the addiction score is already being set by the level drain scenes. Looks like you gain 3 addiction per level drained. But that score isn't being used for anything right now.

Sorta have a issues with the return button png isn't working as well as opening UI on the top on mobile which is unusually small. Overall, good content!
Downloaded the new update, and now the text box UI and the text aren't centered correctly?
The text itself is in the correct place, while the text box is lowered, and occasionally the text gets lowered where the box is, but never the other way.
Also the UI options are really tiny now?
I'm on mobile, so I'm not sure how to go about fixing it.
I hope it will be an optional thing and not something forced on players. No offense to those who want it, but being punished for wanting to engage with one of the main points of the game (the erotic and defeat scenes) is not my idea of fun.
I understand it makes sense from a lore point of view, but going back and forth between regaining levels and the various scenes gets boring for some players and discourages them from playing.
Maybe ass sensitive player would do the trick, if you get a high sensitivity on ass you can get ur level drained when the monster do a certain moveset. i mean there is not a lot of ass attacking monsters isnt it?
Not for me, I'm not one to settle for the lesser evil, so to speak. I'd rather being able to keep enjoying the game without level drain.
In case I get misunderstood, I reiterate, I am not against its implementation, I'm simply against it being something forced on the player. Make it a toggle on/off option, or something which is enabled on certain difficulty levels. One of the things I like the most about the game is being able to "pick my poison", being able to decide what part-advantage/part-disadvantage perks I want my character to have, thanks to the various mistresses. In that sense, I wouldn't mind something tied to helping Belle with her lactation problem, maybe our character develops some sort of addiction and suffers withdrawal symptoms… but again, it would be an affliction I decide to have.
New moves are one of the most common suggestions on the discord, and universally get shot down by the dev with "to much work", since fights generally have unique response lines to attacks, which means adding a new attack would require modifying every fight in the game.
Basically, the attacks we have are the attacks we get.

Have you considered a feature to allow us to replay certain story/non-repeatable scenes? For example, I'd love to rewatch the scene leading into the Manticore's romance, but I am not remotely interested in playing a major chunk of the game again to get there
Some story scenes have ways to replay all or most of the scene after. For the ones that don't, best option you can do today is to create a spare save right before them and use that save to see the scene. If you leave an occasional spare save as you progress through the game then you can go back to before a scene, progress to immediately before it, and then drop a save for that scene specifically. Consider starting a new character with a different build if you haven't been dropping saves and have missed a large number of such scenes and want to collect them now.
I love this game. I always come back to playing and downloading the latest developments (when time allows).
I wish that the mods were loaded onto the game in the Mods List and then you can pick and choose which ones to have active.
I do enjoy seeing different animations that weren't present in older versions and can't wait to see when the game is ever finished to see if romance/marriage will be in it (with however many girls).

Perhaps this is just right for some people. But I would like a higher difficulty level. How to achieve this: give enemies more spirit and more stamina. Increase their characteristics. And let them surpass the hero. Also, introduce nightmare mode automatically. Less loot, more difficult battles. Make some of the acquired perks irreversible. Also, for every 10 fetish points earned when defeated (not in battle - not counted), 1 should be made irreversible, and then sooner or later the fetish will be 100, and nothing can be done. Raising the price of resetting stats doesn't make sense - it's easy to earn money in the game.

From the various Erotic NSFW game, this feels like the only one with a proper indepth Turn Based Combat System that is also quite challenging.
Altough most would just want to get into the meat of the characters and not the difficulty, I have to applaud the effort done to the combat and progression of the game, feels more then a NSFW game ifywIm.
(Bit of a shame there are characters with supposed Affection Progressions not even starting yet, but I digress, It's a nitpick from mine, do whats best for the game)
I don't often complain and my grievance is quite small but... The regular chest mimic seems to either have gotten a new defeat scene (which is the only one that plays since the update) or its bugged to only do one. Or I'm missing something. But it displeases me because the mimics are my favorite. However the game is very good and I look forward to the progress of it.
Hi, sorry for writing this now, but I just remembered this. I got a perk that reduced sensitivity but when I leveled up, I no longer have sensitivities to lower, so the point got accumulated (and also makes any perk dedicated to reduce sensitivities useless) and I wonder if there is something that could be done about it?
I know that it is easier said than done. but if I keep leveling up (or get perks that gives sensitivity points) and those points accumulate but I have nowhere to spend them, well, I don't know, it feels like it is a problem. Like, I don't know, if we can pay to redistribute our stats, why not find a way to invest the extra sensitivity points on something else?
Sorry for not being useful, but I still think I had to point this out.
Hopefully a change like this will be made in the future, but for now, this is the soft cap for perks and sensitivity. Given that you do just keep accumulating extra points after spending all you can, I have to imagine that there are plans to change this system a bit in the future.
It could be fun to be able to reinvest sensitivity points into your core stats once reaching a certain level, but those are capped at 100 for now (which could also change, since monsters don't seem to have stat caps like that). I wish sensitivities could just be lowered further than they currently can, honestly. The more I level, the stronger I want to be!
Anyway, I'm glad you brought this up. We can only cross our fingers that a solution will be provided!
And you can always add more content yourself since the game's resource is entirely open for modification. I know nothing about coding, and I was able to do some basic content addition for myself just by looking at what Threshold is doing in game.
Ong I just started game developement in renpy because of mgd. Its goated! I love every aspect of it! I am currently doing a kinda roguelike horror turnbased fighting game with an encounter system like in mgd. Its inspired my Fear and Hunger and pokerogue.

Anyone run the numbers on defensive runes vs outright contraceptive rune? Virility seems to open you up to blanket damage from near constant debuff. With Demon-L move being single-target, seems constrictive. I'm also unaware if any perks assist Holy? I'd love to see perks that change the virility formula for tank builds.
Oh yeah, it would be nice to have more than just two holy moves, but if adding just one new skill would make everything harder, IDK if adding new Holy skills is possible.
I'd settle for a debuff-clearing burst move. Light damage, but shifting the field dynamic. Or more Rune slots so a wider variety can be played with. The additional slots would really cater to the large underused equipment options.
Hello, I like this game, it feels very well made and the only "complaint" that I have isn't that big into the gameplay, just that I would like other fetishes to be used as attacks.
In example, I know not many women are into feet but it would be nice to be able to counter feet attacks (like a skill or perk to sensitize feet to create recoil) or have a skill to be dominate that could lead to either a stun or stop an attack related to it (like if Shizu is using her Bowing the Mountain skill, you can turn the tables on her) because not all feet related stuff is about being dominated.
Also, this idea came to me recently, that the player should learn hypnosis (at least as an upgrade from sleep, because sapping 10 energy per turn isn't that much of that help in general) and while I don't know which characters you think it would be better used, I would like to suggest it with Beris, since she is into submission, it would be an interesting romance/relationship if one could hypnotize her to be even more submissive and, depending on how you handle that, it may lead the character to be in problems (or in better relationship) with the other sisters.
I don't plan to say everything coming to my mind of what it could be done, since one thing is the idea and another its implementation, but it makes sense that Beris would be the easiest one to hypnotize and submit, considering she is into that.
The problem with adding skills is that every combat has reactions to every skill.
Basically, adding just one new skill would require adding at least a line or two, possibly more for something elaborate like hypnosis, to every single fight in the game, which adds up to being far, far out of scope.
On top of that, the game is very much a femdom game. Player dominance is… not quite entirely an afterthought (it happens whenever the player wins a fight, after all), but it's still a clear second fiddle after the player being submissive, so between this and the mentioned difficulty of adding any kind of new combat skill, in-combat hypnosis (or player-dominant foot domination in combat) really aren't going to happen.

The battle system is so fun, I've been playing nuzzlock challenge runs! I pretty much can't loose (unless I want to). I do know about two characters with femdom routes (Valencia and the kitsune) but I always ignore their routes, because fuck em, I ain't being controlled by washed-up old hags. I know I ain't the only one, because when I first started playing (4-5 years ago) there was a lot of comments by players who were upset by the fox bitch's mind control bullshit. My first playthrough, I had to savescum back before going down the kitsune's route, because her "perk" made the oni duo fight impossable.
I mean, if the tags ("Erotic, Femdom, Monster Girls, Ren'Py, Text based"), the name (based on Monster Girl Quest, which was also an explicit inspiration for the game in general), and the fact that literally every fuckable girl has at least one female dominant sex scene (even Beris, who's explicitly submissive, will take charge and fuck you silly if you annoy her too much, while there are a bunch of characters that simply have no way for you to be dominant) all didn't give it away, there's also the part where the dev openly admits that the game was made because he couldn't find a "soft femdom" monster girl game.
Sure, it leans more into gentle femdom, but you have to ignore most of the content to miss it. It's neat that you found enough interesting stuff in the margins, but the game really isn't subtle about what it's about.

Build in the base game there's none but in the wiki you can finds mods for it and download whatever cheats/mods you want.

You can also edit Ren'Py save files very easily, there a dozen tools available either for download or for use online

Basicaly the updated files come on top of the already downloaded game you just need to manualy update it in game options.
Like make sure you're in the starting town before doing so then go to menu>option>update save.
It'll take a few sec and then you're good.

If you're at the point where you can't lower sense or upgrade your core stats then you reacehed the soft cap to game atm.

And you can always add more content yourself since the game's resource is entirely open for modification. I know nothing about coding, and I was able to do some basic content addition for myself just by looking at what Threshold is doing in game.
"More Noir" is pretty much inevitable.
The question is just when, and that could still be far off in the future.
I hope I can add more languages, such as Chinese, and I have a feeling that this game will be very popular in China.
Ong I just started game developement in renpy because of mgd. Its goated! I love every aspect of it! I am currently doing a kinda roguelike horror turnbased fighting game with an encounter system like in mgd. Its inspired my Fear and Hunger and pokerogue.

Anyone run the numbers on defensive runes vs outright contraceptive rune? Virility seems to open you up to blanket damage from near constant debuff. With Demon-L move being single-target, seems constrictive. I'm also unaware if any perks assist Holy? I'd love to see perks that change the virility formula for tank builds.
Oh yeah, it would be nice to have more than just two holy moves, but if adding just one new skill would make everything harder, IDK if adding new Holy skills is possible.
I'd settle for a debuff-clearing burst move. Light damage, but shifting the field dynamic. Or more Rune slots so a wider variety can be played with. The additional slots would really cater to the large underused equipment options.
Hello, I like this game, it feels very well made and the only "complaint" that I have isn't that big into the gameplay, just that I would like other fetishes to be used as attacks.
In example, I know not many women are into feet but it would be nice to be able to counter feet attacks (like a skill or perk to sensitize feet to create recoil) or have a skill to be dominate that could lead to either a stun or stop an attack related to it (like if Shizu is using her Bowing the Mountain skill, you can turn the tables on her) because not all feet related stuff is about being dominated.
Also, this idea came to me recently, that the player should learn hypnosis (at least as an upgrade from sleep, because sapping 10 energy per turn isn't that much of that help in general) and while I don't know which characters you think it would be better used, I would like to suggest it with Beris, since she is into submission, it would be an interesting romance/relationship if one could hypnotize her to be even more submissive and, depending on how you handle that, it may lead the character to be in problems (or in better relationship) with the other sisters.
I don't plan to say everything coming to my mind of what it could be done, since one thing is the idea and another its implementation, but it makes sense that Beris would be the easiest one to hypnotize and submit, considering she is into that.

The problem with adding skills is that every combat has reactions to every skill.
Basically, adding just one new skill would require adding at least a line or two, possibly more for something elaborate like hypnosis, to every single fight in the game, which adds up to being far, far out of scope.
On top of that, the game is very much a femdom game. Player dominance is… not quite entirely an afterthought (it happens whenever the player wins a fight, after all), but it's still a clear second fiddle after the player being submissive, so between this and the mentioned difficulty of adding any kind of new combat skill, in-combat hypnosis (or player-dominant foot domination in combat) really aren't going to happen.

The battle system is so fun, I've been playing nuzzlock challenge runs! I pretty much can't loose (unless I want to). I do know about two characters with femdom routes (Valencia and the kitsune) but I always ignore their routes, because fuck em, I ain't being controlled by washed-up old hags. I know I ain't the only one, because when I first started playing (4-5 years ago) there was a lot of comments by players who were upset by the fox bitch's mind control bullshit. My first playthrough, I had to savescum back before going down the kitsune's route, because her "perk" made the oni duo fight impossable.
I mean, if the tags ("Erotic, Femdom, Monster Girls, Ren'Py, Text based"), the name (based on Monster Girl Quest, which was also an explicit inspiration for the game in general), and the fact that literally every fuckable girl has at least one female dominant sex scene (even Beris, who's explicitly submissive, will take charge and fuck you silly if you annoy her too much, while there are a bunch of characters that simply have no way for you to be dominant) all didn't give it away, there's also the part where the dev openly admits that the game was made because he couldn't find a "soft femdom" monster girl game.
Sure, it leans more into gentle femdom, but you have to ignore most of the content to miss it. It's neat that you found enough interesting stuff in the margins, but the game really isn't subtle about what it's about.
