Spoiler: What does everyone think of the buffs from Sofia? I'm taking a look at them atm and...damn those drawbacks are insane. A lot more insane than the Nymph or Vivian perks. Not sure if any are worth the drawbacks in practice or not so I'll pass I guess unless someone to tell me about their experience.
Personally, it all depends of what build you are going for, I personally went for a focus on penetration so the "better at sex" was good! Yes it gives you drawbacks but overall, the drawbacks can be overcome pretty easily with the right items, and even without them and with a build focused on eros or XP, you can pretty much be guaranteed that the positives outweigh the negatives, so it's definitely worth it! I also did a run where I took all of the buffs from Sophia I could, and honestly? It overall made things easier since I was now able to "out-fuck" a mimic with ease even while having a weakness for kissing, so, i hope this helps!
Hm alrighty. I'm running an allure build with no particular focus aside from making use of Vivian's perk since it's convenient. Like 40 allure/30 luck being the main stat investments so far. I wound up taking the lucky pocket watch and just trying to get the most value I can long-term, though I imagine trying to get her other perks and stuff will be way harder than the first time, which I still JUST BARELY beat on the first attempt with 1 spirit left. Thanks for the info though.

Hope you manage to find somewhere new to continue this. This has had a phenomenal amount of work put into it, and while I am satisfied with the content that I have already paid for, I admit I would be disappointed if this poor decision by Itchio leaves this forever unfinished.
there will always be other platforms and avenues for the game to continue even if itchio things do implode. I hope everyone can keep in mind there is also a patreon and subscribestar they can follow for free.

I've only see a few arts pop up and wanted to ask before I spend awhile trying to find them. Really like the writing and silly/funny moments throughout so far though I imagine I've got quite a chunk of game left ahead of me since I've just been playing around in the forest for awhile.
Aw that's a shame, I guess I'll just look forward to finding more girls that have them then. Adds a lot to the experience imo. Still having a good time though and kinda crazy to me that Trisha doesn't seem to have any art considering it's encouraged to go to her every now and then and honestly she's just a favorite lol

Sorry for the double comment, but I've been reading that the suckers at itch.io have removed purchased adult games from users' collections with no refunds whatsoever. Is that true? Extra scummy of them.
I strongly recommend starting from the beginning. Not a whole lot of story content has been added since 2024. Instead, Threshold has been focusing mainly on improving the quality of the game's preexisting events.
@Threshold - Due to the way you have implemented other mini games into MGDs... I shall humbley request a "repeatable" mini job / quest in the capital city where you earn money by serving as a "security guard overnight" at some place where you essentially "survive untill morning" where you are rewarded with eros... and maybe a meme badge item that references fnaf. ;]
Holy Headpat (given to you from dialogue from Lillian about how people "fight" around here) does 1 Holy Damage, though it's obviously a joke move that gets you special interactions from various Mamono in battle.
Demon Layer (also given to you by Lillian after you exhaust her dialogue, have Holy Headpat, and have collected enough sigils plus have 6 or over in Power, Technique, and Allure) is the main source of holy damage in this game, scaling with your virility and Power stat.
I'm trying to go to older versions of the game to test out mods but I can't find a way to download the older versions on PC. Does anyone know how to access older versions?

I changed my mind and decided I just wanted to have fun with it rather than worry about screwing myself over too hard with dumb choices so I switched to easy, held control, and zipped right past where I was at... and no rollback (I assume to makes it so you can't just breeze through the combat) so reload reapply stats and not skip just spam until I got back to where I was
What do you get from being hypnotized and beating the two oni at once? I haven't been able to progress story for 2 years because I am too stubborn and want to defeat them both while hypnotized.

And while most people here will tell you something along the lines of "be patient and let them cook", I'll be a naysayer and tell you that the reality is that The Capital has been in development hell forever (way too long actually, it's almost been like what, basically 3 or more years now since it was first released, and still it isn't properly fleshed out like the other areas?) , and Threshold currently seems to be prioritizing going back and revamping old content than adding new content that moves the plot forward. If the Capital still isn't completely finished by this year or the next, I honestly wouldn't be surprised. Hell, I bet we get Silksong before The Capital is released in full.
But at least Threshold is doing something and constantly communicating on paetron/etcetera, and not being radio silent. That's better than a lot of other indie projects out there.
tbf given the recent status update, they seem to be working on the capital itself now, and specifically the int trial, so content should be pushing forward in the coming months
This game is ongoing, the capital is the end of main story content currently, but there's tons of side content like the sleim villge recruitment, and different relationship paths!
By interacting with one of the named slimes in the village and dumping some eros into a resource sink, she'll eventually send you out to recruit different types of slimes. So far, the game will let you recruit a Bubble Slime and some ghost Slimes.
Can't seem to get anymore rewards from Sofia since the update to the battle ui. doesnt matter which fight i redo she just says good job and im back on the talk/nap/etc menu
This is intentional. You have to battle her at a higher difficulty than last time to receive a reward. Once you complete all her battles you don't get any more rewards.
Future higher difficulties are planned, presumably until you get all of her rewards, but for now there are only three? maybe four? I can't remember.

Happened twice already (extra context: just loaded the game from town; went straight to Amy; 1st time I pet her then fought then 1st turn make out; 2nd time just make out)
I found this game while browsing and WHAT?!!? This is an insane amount of effort and talent for a game that's offered for free! As an educated gooner myself, I have the utmost respect for the refined gameplay and artwork. The game is also pretty funny. I've been playing for ~3 hours now and it's been a blast.

Luckily they're saying something, devs that are completely radio silent are the worst.
