Please help. I can't do anything after character creation. I've tried deleting my saves and all mods, re-downloading the game. the result is always the same. I can start the game, create a character, but once I select go adventuring, the screen has the background but no selections. somehow, my saves keep showing up after I delete them from /<USER>/AppData/Roaming/RenPy/MonGirl-1496073722/ please help me, I cannot play the game because of this issue. I've even tried using Total Uninstall 7. I can't seem to get rid of my saves. one or more of them have mods. they are automatic saves.
If memory serves correctly there's 6 more areas planned for the game (labyrinth, capital, capital's dungeon, desert, desert's dungeon, queen's castle) and nothing has been announced as to when the planned areas are coming out
I'm sure it is if you get your hands on you android saves and send them to your pc. I found mine in Android>data>(forgot the exact name but it should be something related to monster girl dreams)>saves.

And it gives me the file paths to where the saves should be and says that it's not valid and etc. I can ignore it but anything I do won't be saved and it doesn't look like i can create a file or something for the save.. any help would be great. I use a MAC: Big Sur. in case that helps with any info.
My theory: The red slime girl is actually the final boss of the game. The reason she put the curse on the whole continent is bc she constantly hurts herself all the time, so the curse is meant to protect her. The fact that everyone resorted to fucking each other as a means to fight was just everyone taking advantage of the situation since they can't get hurt.

Didn't realise uninstalling to install the latest update deleted my saves, is there any way to recover 5 months of progress? I've been playing since November and don't want to start over, this is a major pain :/
I would just start a new game and go all out on my intelligence. Use arousero or something like that (attacks multiple enemies) and speed through the game with ease. If it's a single strong enemy, then I use a strong single target magic attack and teleport is also useful. Maybe some stuns here and there. You'll easily get back to where you started.
You can tamper with the code and input your old stats in a completely new playthrough, you just gotta enable the console
First go to the game's folder, then go to the renpy folder, and then go to the common folder.
Next find and open the file 00console.rpy in any text editor of choice, even plain Notepad will do.
Use the keys ctrl+f on your keybind to bring up search, and then provide it with config.console = False, or go to line 108.
Replace False with True to, as it looks, enable the console. Do not alter its current indentation level.
Save the file.
Open the console-enabled copy of MGD.
After loading your save or starting your new game and completing character creation, press shift+o (the letter O and not the number 0).
After pressing Shift+O, something'll happen

Gonna asume the console thing isn't a secret, it's ultimately up to you if you want a shortcut or not

Might be your phone, I'm on Android as well and I'm not having any crashing. If you mean the issue where it indefinitely stays on a black screen then you need to close it, remove it from your recent apps, and try reopening (perhaps repeat it a few times too).
That's a known issue with Ren'py on Android, I believe. It's basically out of the dev's hands unless they choose to heavily restructure things, so best thing I can suggest is saving frequently, at the very least before you switch apps, close the app, or lock your phone.
Threshold! Ma'Dude! Please tell me that at some point, not necessarily soon or anything, but in the future, that there will be more to do with Trisha. Her Gren, Minoni, and Jura are my favorite girls so far and I'm just hoping the minor succubus will get more attention down the road.
I'd definitely like to add more content and stuff to a lot of characters, and Trisha is one of them, but it will probably be a while before that happens as I have a lot of catching up to do with other high priority stuff.

If I am being raped by a monster girl or a succubus, I expect to (a) die (b) lose my mind (c) be enslaved (d) lose my soul. That makes the battle much more exciting. Succubus Prison really underscored the horror involved. So, you are faced with the thing you desire most (unimaginably good sex) and the thing you fear most (death). That paradox blows my mind.

As a general rule, when creating a Hentai game, I think a developer should do what really and personally turns them on rather than trying to appeal to the broadest base. When you look at the art work and dialogue in this game, it is pretty obvious that the developers are really in to it. That's contagious.
Hentai games struggle with what happens if the MC dies. In some, you reincarnate. In some, it was just a dream. I think generally speaking, it is best if the game just rewinds.
When I find a game that I really love, I criticize it. The game is in development, so I'm just suggesting how I think it could be better. I don't think there is any right or wrong about it. Everybody's got their own personal tastes.
I've seen games like Agony that accentuate the horror so much that the game loses its sex appeal. I think one of the hardest parts of making a game must be balancing the tensions effectively.
You can't compare this game to horror games where the MC can die simply because they're adult content, that's like apples and oranges. If you want that kind of game then go play MGQ or Violated Hero or something, the appeal of this game is that it's NOT 100% rape and death like most other femdom games out there you'll find.
you might want to play monster girl quest, that game is the opposite of this game in my opinion, as almost all of it's content is femdom/vore/being fucked until death
Very well done game. The dialogue is excellent and very specific to the situation. Proves that you don't have to have animation to be very erotic. Good Battle Fuck system, although I think it would be a little more realistic if I wasn't constantly pressing the weak point over and over. The battle itself is quite erotic, so you don't have to lose before it gets erotic. The diversity of the monster girl personalities is well done. The game creates a nice tension without being ridiculously difficult. Lots of options for upgrading and inventory which makes it interesting. The game knows how to capture my imagination.
You could use joiplay and play the window version and add a mod in the game folder. don't know if you're still finding way to do it but I forgot to mention to download joiplay renpy plugin
I found a bug in the game. I found the bug by just wanting to see what would happen if I just kept on drinking imp juice and after I had taken 2 -3 imp juice I was met with this white error screen. but other than that this is a great game and I am looking forward to the next update and where the story goes next.
Sounds like the Android bug where interacting with your Character screen can crash the game. It's been an issue for a couple of months but will be patched soon!
unless you are overwriting your saves folder at .../monstergrildreams/game/saves you should have the saves after you update, just make sure you save in town before updating!
Out of curiosity, but does anyone know what the max level is? I'm assuming it's 100, but I'm hoping that it's more than that. I'll post an update once I reach 100.

You can edit the experience gain in the time_elf.json file in android so you can level up faster.you need the dirty cheats done for free mod though.

I tried this out, but it resulted in the game crashing any time i opened it. Any attempt to activate a mod did this. Any knowledge of how to fix this?

you might want to play monster girl quest, that game is the opposite of this game in my opinion, as almost all of it's content is femdom/vore/being fucked until death

Very well done game. The dialogue is excellent and very specific to the situation. Proves that you don't have to have animation to be very erotic. Good Battle Fuck system, although I think it would be a little more realistic if I wasn't constantly pressing the weak point over and over. The battle itself is quite erotic, so you don't have to lose before it gets erotic. The diversity of the monster girl personalities is well done. The game creates a nice tension without being ridiculously difficult. Lots of options for upgrading and inventory which makes it interesting. The game knows how to capture my imagination.

There is a way but you must disable ALL IMAGES after adding mod
You could use joiplay and play the window version and add a mod in the game folder. don't know if you're still finding way to do it but I forgot to mention to download joiplay renpy plugin

I found a bug in the game. I found the bug by just wanting to see what would happen if I just kept on drinking imp juice and after I had taken 2 -3 imp juice I was met with this white error screen. but other than that this is a great game and I am looking forward to the next update and where the story goes next.
Sounds like the Android bug where interacting with your Character screen can crash the game. It's been an issue for a couple of months but will be patched soon!
On PC, how do i transfer my save files from one version to another so i dont have to start from zero every new update?
unless you are overwriting your saves folder at .../monstergrildreams/game/saves you should have the saves after you update, just make sure you save in town before updating!
Out of curiosity, but does anyone know what the max level is? I'm assuming it's 100, but I'm hoping that it's more than that. I'll post an update once I reach 100.
Fairly certain unless something's changed it's however many levels it takes to max out stats, resistances, and perks
