In case you want to keep your progress, before doing anything else, make sure to save in the Town Square. Afterwards, make a backup copy of the save folder (which is located in the game folder). Download the new version, copy the save folder, load up your save->Go into Options->Update save.

My honest opinions and critiques:
1. The writing is great! While I won't lavish it with praises, The texts describing each sexual encounter do so in great detail without any flowery prose or character breaks that would ruin your immersion in the encounter. Though, I've noticed that there's a lot of sighing after a dozen or two of playthroughs.
2. Combat is nothing flashy mechanically, It's in the standard RPGM style of relying on specific skills and the build associated with them to ensure your victory. The unique twist however, that being instead of physical fighting, you are trying to sexually outcompete your opponent adds spice to each encounter since not only are your moves sexual but the game goes in detail on how you are beating your opponent.
3. The difficulty is just right and makes the game VERY fun in my opinion. Finding the right build (i.e. INT and TECH/STR and Willpower), buying the right skills, and then acquiring the necessary perks to maximize the effeciency of your arousal output and minimize your arousal intakes is incredibly fun! I would consider this a must recommend for people who enjoy a 'just about right' challenge on rpgs, the sexual content is just a bonus rather than the main attraction.
4. Sexual content - the Artworks are all clearly drawn by very talented people and are indeed very nice. A lot of fetishes are covered by various monster girls and they do it well, though, there's clearly a leaning towards submissive content which I find a bit hard to get into. Tabitha is the only character in the game which I find is carered towards more dominant players. It is only a minor complaint though, otherwise all the sexual content are very good though they take a backseat to the combat encounters.
Ending note: This game requires you to acrually think with your brain rather than your crotch to pass through each areas smoothly. If you're looking for a quick porn that dumps sexual imagery at you the moment you open the game, then this is not the game for you.
If you however can think with both your brain and crotch, then I highly recommend this game since it satisfies both at the same time with challenging fights, unique restrictions, and enganging dialogue on top of the 9/10 porn.

Hi, that also happen to me, i search and the solution is go to the second trial with at last 270-300 of Arousal Max Capacity. With that you can "endure" the test. (Also i pick the tits option than rise your arousal to 265).
The other options also works, but rise the arousal over 265, i just remember xd.

Mmm thats weird, to unlock the double door you need to fight the boss Aiko (if i remember correctly) and pull a lever in the Blue door area, and then fight Feng in the red door area and also pull a lever.
I miss the part of pulling the lever in my firts game and then make me around the zone to much time xD. (Sorry for the bad english).

It's necessary to get as many perks as possible. I have a park from the Angel that I get 10% Arousal and Energy every turn so I never run out of energy and with Calm Mind and Cleanse Lust my arousal never passes 25% full.

uhhh you know ow the save file we copy to update the game I think transfer that save file to your mobile device and than go in the game in ur mobile device save 1 time (remember to save at the town square)
And than replace your save file with your original save file (sorry if it don't work because this is just me guessing)
One of the best porn game concepts I've ever played
1. Amazing artwork: all the girls look incredible and what else could you ask for in a porn game. Lots of variety, from absolutely adorable, to completely badass, and stunningly beautiful
2. The premise is intriguing and believable; a lot of porn games shirk a compelling story concept in order to flesh out the "good stuff" more, but this game does NOT do that. Not only is the story/world/premise believable in a fantasy genre sense, but it's one of the only porn games I've ever played where I actively WANT to know more about the story/lore and characters, and also what happens next. It's just that well written, in my opinion
3. The combat, while nothing incredible in terms of flashy-ness or style, is actually very fun from an RPG standpoint. Making the battles battles of sex is genius (my only hope is that the in-battle artwork continues to get more dynamic and fleshed out in the future; i.e clothing removal, different poses/artwork, etc). The stat/skills system is also nicely fleshed out and satisfying, with different builds and fighting styles easy to identify and plan out
4. The descriptions of all the "sexy-time" stuff that happens in the game is also very well done and so hot; it's just as well written as the story and lore. With a decent variety of scenarios and fetishes for different people to enjoy, the quality and variety only continues to improve as the game gets updated
I've played through a good amount of the game and it's very good, while the labyrinth is annoying it's mostly because (at least for me) it takes a bit to register an input and it just seems to lag, that and I want to just move quickly, but other than that it's fun, I definitely want more CG's for both enemies and main characters but the detailed text makes up for it. Overall good game 10/10 hope to see more
Felt I should add my two cents about the game after reading some of these posts. I enjoy how detailed the combat system is, I can actually enjoy the flow of the fight and have to give some semblance of thought towards prep or builds or perks. The stats don't break the game nor do the perks, but they can work together towards efficient builds if you aren't being dumb about it (like any other RPG). I don't understand the hate for the Maze or the cave; if the chief concern is paralysis then stack resistances or bring antidotes? And the hellhounds being powerful is the ONLY threat in the maze, makes sense they'd be a threat. Even still, there hasn't been an engagement I couldn't solve with some thought. I've only grinded levels for the optional fights with Sophia.
The ero part of the erogame is pretty damn solid too, plenty of variety and still pretty tasteful or at least as tasteful you can reasonably expect to find on a battlefuck island. Writing team is doing a bang-up job, haven't read such quality smut in years. Character designs and their personalities are all organic; believable characters with agency. hopes. and worries. Kaia's arc is just *chef's kiss*, can't wait to finish taming Beris and embarrass her in front of her family.
Maintaining such a detailed wiki and attaching it to this page was a great help too, answered a lot of questions.

I did not really enjoy the combat&rpg system. I found it pretty confusing, difficult to really tell what to level up or what increases or decreases were bad or good. Not much guidance beyond the introduction, after realizing that I was going to need to do a lot of learning mechanics & npc infodumping etc I lost interest.
Just to re assure others incase it looks like im bashing the game, I'm not trying to. There seems to be quite a lot of options and for the sake of it being an rpg that's good and im sure a lot of people enjoy playing around with this, experimenting with it in combat and so on.

I cleared it at level 48 on hard, so 80 is definitely not necessary. Tried restarting and building a decent character? Helps if you don't pick every fetish on creation or get any of the perks that boost fetish.
There are no difficulty levels. Also, what the bloody hell? The further you go, the stronger you need to be? What tragedy! Something completely unheard of in other RPG-like games [this is sarcasm, in case you don't get it]; things like "no level up/SL1" challenges could be possible on the likes of Final Fantasy entries and your average Soulsborne experience, not here. Flash news: your average RPG expects you to get stronger, or you get steamrolled even by mobs.
There are enemies that give you a decent amount of experience and that you can defeat in 3-4 hits, provided you take advantage of their weaknesses, this coming from someone who reached level 92 without farming stronger bosses, nor spending countless hours on this.
On character creation there's "difficulty" which changes how many points you get, how much spirit you recover on level up etc.
Hard makes all your stats start at 1 and gives you 20 to spend, with 1 sensitivity point, Easy gives you 10 points to spend, but all your stats start at 10, with 5 sensitivity points, making you much more powerful at level 1.

This is a late response but this is something I remember asking for like two years ago, when Veneficia was initially released. She is able to negate the effects of the recall stone using her magical prowess, so clearly a method of disabling the recall stone exists and it surprises me other monster girls are just ignoring it. This is a great game but it's the first game with monster girls where all the girls share this odd code of ethics preventing them from enslaving the MC, when you would think many of them would love to have him as a pet with how sex-focused everything is and with how uncommon other male travelers seemingly are.
Threshold could do a lot with future characters or even current characters, who are intent on finding themselves a new slave. It's especially disappointing when you have that tengu, for example, stating she is going to take him home with her but then comes the recall stone, as a device which conveniently prevents the women from abducting him in his defeat, making that dialogue pointless. It doesn't even need to be this expansive enslavement system, just a bad-end whenever you lose to certain characters X amount of times.
IIRC, I saw this stuff asked about in the discord. If I'm remembering correctly, Thresh said he had (at that time) no plans to have perma losses or enslavements (no "bad ends") that would require reloading entirely to escape. Even Kotone can be removed if you are heartless enough to go through her story and then say fuck off. This is meant to be more light-hearted and "free love" rather than perma enslavements. There may be modders who could/would create this, look for them.
Yeah but you know how Kaia kidnaps you? Why can't poor Tengu do the same. You can escape at any time (Like when you work for Venfica and escape), but you can also stay if you want to be enslaved you know. It already exists, I would just like to see more :D
Get all the hypno sessions and then beat the will side again and then face both oni twins at once. This will unlock romance options with kotone I recommend using the wiki guide for the romance part as it can be easy to accidentally harm your relationship.
Top of the screen will be a button that says (Menu) once you open the menu on the right top of the list will be a button that says (Character) then their will be three tabs touch the one that says (Inventory) then just underneath there are more tabs for the different types of of item's.
Selecting is much easier if you have a stylus/phone pen and you may need to touch and hold briefly for some options .
Occasionally the touch input is offset a little bit to the left (that could just be my device) so if your inputs aren't going through try touching next to it.
So, this game is pretty good, not going to lie, the effort and work for the writing alone is astonishing. However I feel like my game is messed up somehow, because I feel like there are scenes that just aren't playing or something. For example, the blue slime girl has a specific scene where you can see your member inside here, and it has a climaxe art scene as well. Is this not the same with all monster girls? Or do the blue slime girls in the mystic forest have art for their attacks and no other girls? Like I'd love to see actual art for the scenes in the bar for example. I'm not sure if my game is messed up and they are there, or if they are not.
you can by progressing your relationship with Mika the forest dungeon cat girl, there's also the hell hound in the bar (level your power or cheese your way in with accessories and runes), and Venefica can use toys on you when you work for her (wear a collar accessory when you walk in to get this option faster).
You're stuck as a male. According to the development blog there are no plans to ever add a female version of the playable character (which would require a lot of work, due to all the text needing to be changed).
What relationship does Venefica and Elly have after the quest? Did Venefica take Elly as a student? Or is Elly gonna be a love rival in the future considering what Venefica wrote in her diary?
I'm pretty sure they just meet up for tea and whatnot . Venefica's pretty clear that she's not gonna teach anyone witch craft and Elly isn't a witch anyhow.
Got as far as I can, unless one of the other hellhounds will visit the Brothel (both Ceris and Ushris would be great, Beris is already there, and the lamia that thinks she's a hellhound is too full of herself for my tastes) I'd LOVE for there to be some kind of Venefica/Ushris meeting, given that Ushris is part of the Umbral coven.
I found the 4th level of the labyrinth kind of frustrating because of so many traps and "there's a trap...just kidding!". Not really hard, just UGH on all the traps that it seems you HAVE to trigger them.
I did wish that after you completed the labyrinth that each of the hellhounds would have new things to say or the possibility of having fun (wink wink) without having to rechallenge the floor. Oh course they might wonder why I'm wanting to stay in the labyrinth bouncing between the first and third floors and not wanting to go on...
Still think Jora is best Waifu, but Ceris and Ushris are a close second (can't decide who I like more)
If you like Jora, install the beach vacation mod. Cetty is best girl (if a bit too into ass stuff, admittedly). Character wise she's a precog who already knows she loves you and is in denial, and is a total cinnamon roll.

One of the best porn game concepts I've ever played
1. Amazing artwork: all the girls look incredible and what else could you ask for in a porn game. Lots of variety, from absolutely adorable, to completely badass, and stunningly beautiful
2. The premise is intriguing and believable; a lot of porn games shirk a compelling story concept in order to flesh out the "good stuff" more, but this game does NOT do that. Not only is the story/world/premise believable in a fantasy genre sense, but it's one of the only porn games I've ever played where I actively WANT to know more about the story/lore and characters, and also what happens next. It's just that well written, in my opinion
3. The combat, while nothing incredible in terms of flashy-ness or style, is actually very fun from an RPG standpoint. Making the battles battles of sex is genius (my only hope is that the in-battle artwork continues to get more dynamic and fleshed out in the future; i.e clothing removal, different poses/artwork, etc). The stat/skills system is also nicely fleshed out and satisfying, with different builds and fighting styles easy to identify and plan out
4. The descriptions of all the "sexy-time" stuff that happens in the game is also very well done and so hot; it's just as well written as the story and lore. With a decent variety of scenarios and fetishes for different people to enjoy, the quality and variety only continues to improve as the game gets updated
I've played through a good amount of the game and it's very good, while the labyrinth is annoying it's mostly because (at least for me) it takes a bit to register an input and it just seems to lag, that and I want to just move quickly, but other than that it's fun, I definitely want more CG's for both enemies and main characters but the detailed text makes up for it. Overall good game 10/10 hope to see more
Felt I should add my two cents about the game after reading some of these posts. I enjoy how detailed the combat system is, I can actually enjoy the flow of the fight and have to give some semblance of thought towards prep or builds or perks. The stats don't break the game nor do the perks, but they can work together towards efficient builds if you aren't being dumb about it (like any other RPG). I don't understand the hate for the Maze or the cave; if the chief concern is paralysis then stack resistances or bring antidotes? And the hellhounds being powerful is the ONLY threat in the maze, makes sense they'd be a threat. Even still, there hasn't been an engagement I couldn't solve with some thought. I've only grinded levels for the optional fights with Sophia.
The ero part of the erogame is pretty damn solid too, plenty of variety and still pretty tasteful or at least as tasteful you can reasonably expect to find on a battlefuck island. Writing team is doing a bang-up job, haven't read such quality smut in years. Character designs and their personalities are all organic; believable characters with agency. hopes. and worries. Kaia's arc is just *chef's kiss*, can't wait to finish taming Beris and embarrass her in front of her family.
Maintaining such a detailed wiki and attaching it to this page was a great help too, answered a lot of questions.

Best part of this game is the erotica, would be great if more focus was put into all of the scenes that you can encounter since a bunch of the encounters I ran into only really had text (which was still really good btw) but if there were more cg's it would be even better.
I did not really enjoy the combat&rpg system. I found it pretty confusing, difficult to really tell what to level up or what increases or decreases were bad or good. Not much guidance beyond the introduction, after realizing that I was going to need to do a lot of learning mechanics & npc infodumping etc I lost interest.
Just to re assure others incase it looks like im bashing the game, I'm not trying to. There seems to be quite a lot of options and for the sake of it being an rpg that's good and im sure a lot of people enjoy playing around with this, experimenting with it in combat and so on.
Not my cup of tea though, not looking for grinding or using my brain too much. More there for the interesting erotica and it feels like the balance is a bit too heavy on the rpg side for my taste, seems like too much work. Want a more casual experience to my porn u know.

I cleared it at level 48 on hard, so 80 is definitely not necessary. Tried restarting and building a decent character? Helps if you don't pick every fetish on creation or get any of the perks that boost fetish.
There are no difficulty levels. Also, what the bloody hell? The further you go, the stronger you need to be? What tragedy! Something completely unheard of in other RPG-like games [this is sarcasm, in case you don't get it]; things like "no level up/SL1" challenges could be possible on the likes of Final Fantasy entries and your average Soulsborne experience, not here. Flash news: your average RPG expects you to get stronger, or you get steamrolled even by mobs.
There are enemies that give you a decent amount of experience and that you can defeat in 3-4 hits, provided you take advantage of their weaknesses, this coming from someone who reached level 92 without farming stronger bosses, nor spending countless hours on this.
On character creation there's "difficulty" which changes how many points you get, how much spirit you recover on level up etc.
Hard makes all your stats start at 1 and gives you 20 to spend, with 1 sensitivity point, Easy gives you 10 points to spend, but all your stats start at 10, with 5 sensitivity points, making you much more powerful at level 1.

I really love the submissive options, where I can choose to worship a girl instead of winning, but I'm sad I can't put myself into a submissive position. Agree. The option to truly 'lose' to monster girl is what I dreamed for so long. I understand that it is a lot of work to make that for every girl, but for someone, like those with wich you can have realationship would be great. (Tengu best girl. Want more content with her)

This is a late response but this is something I remember asking for like two years ago, when Veneficia was initially released. She is able to negate the effects of the recall stone using her magical prowess, so clearly a method of disabling the recall stone exists and it surprises me other monster girls are just ignoring it. This is a great game but it's the first game with monster girls where all the girls share this odd code of ethics preventing them from enslaving the MC, when you would think many of them would love to have him as a pet with how sex-focused everything is and with how uncommon other male travelers seemingly are.
Threshold could do a lot with future characters or even current characters, who are intent on finding themselves a new slave. It's especially disappointing when you have that tengu, for example, stating she is going to take him home with her but then comes the recall stone, as a device which conveniently prevents the women from abducting him in his defeat, making that dialogue pointless. It doesn't even need to be this expansive enslavement system, just a bad-end whenever you lose to certain characters X amount of times.
IIRC, I saw this stuff asked about in the discord. If I'm remembering correctly, Thresh said he had (at that time) no plans to have perma losses or enslavements (no "bad ends") that would require reloading entirely to escape. Even Kotone can be removed if you are heartless enough to go through her story and then say fuck off. This is meant to be more light-hearted and "free love" rather than perma enslavements. There may be modders who could/would create this, look for them.
Yeah but you know how Kaia kidnaps you? Why can't poor Tengu do the same. You can escape at any time (Like when you work for Venfica and escape), but you can also stay if you want to be enslaved you know. It already exists, I would just like to see more :D

Get all the hypno sessions and then beat the will side again and then face both oni twins at once. This will unlock romance options with kotone I recommend using the wiki guide for the romance part as it can be easy to accidentally harm your relationship.

How to access inventory on tablet
Top of the screen will be a button that says (Menu) once you open the menu on the right top of the list will be a button that says (Character) then their will be three tabs touch the one that says (Inventory) then just underneath there are more tabs for the different types of of item's.
Selecting is much easier if you have a stylus/phone pen and you may need to touch and hold briefly for some options .
Occasionally the touch input is offset a little bit to the left (that could just be my device) so if your inputs aren't going through try touching next to it.
So, this game is pretty good, not going to lie, the effort and work for the writing alone is astonishing. However I feel like my game is messed up somehow, because I feel like there are scenes that just aren't playing or something. For example, the blue slime girl has a specific scene where you can see your member inside here, and it has a climaxe art scene as well. Is this not the same with all monster girls? Or do the blue slime girls in the mystic forest have art for their attacks and no other girls? Like I'd love to see actual art for the scenes in the bar for example. I'm not sure if my game is messed up and they are there, or if they are not.

you can by progressing your relationship with Mika the forest dungeon cat girl, there's also the hell hound in the bar (level your power or cheese your way in with accessories and runes), and Venefica can use toys on you when you work for her (wear a collar accessory when you walk in to get this option faster).

You're stuck as a male. According to the development blog there are no plans to ever add a female version of the playable character (which would require a lot of work, due to all the text needing to be changed).

Got as far as I can, unless one of the other hellhounds will visit the Brothel (both Ceris and Ushris would be great, Beris is already there, and the lamia that thinks she's a hellhound is too full of herself for my tastes) I'd LOVE for there to be some kind of Venefica/Ushris meeting, given that Ushris is part of the Umbral coven.
I found the 4th level of the labyrinth kind of frustrating because of so many traps and "there's a trap...just kidding!". Not really hard, just UGH on all the traps that it seems you HAVE to trigger them.
I did wish that after you completed the labyrinth that each of the hellhounds would have new things to say or the possibility of having fun (wink wink) without having to rechallenge the floor. Oh course they might wonder why I'm wanting to stay in the labyrinth bouncing between the first and third floors and not wanting to go on...

If you like Jora, install the beach vacation mod. Cetty is best girl (if a bit too into ass stuff, admittedly). Character wise she's a precog who already knows she loves you and is in denial, and is a total cinnamon roll.
Also she's stronger than sophia in her true form when you fight her in her home.
already awesome game with more to anticipate. i really appreciate that it IS a 'game', with difficulty, strategy, and VARIATION. i particularly enjoy that you can pace yourself (don't mean the skill), advance more quickly or slowly, OR handicap yourself. it is hilarious to intentionally choose poorly ('monster jumps at you with claws outstretched' - 'kitty just wants a hug'), there are some areas suitable for training etc. love the humor, now trying a rp with 'monster'-fetish :>

I'm interested in how much "self-insert" the player character is supposed to be.
If it's set in stone you're freshly graduated that would possibly make the player's age merely 18 if it's like high school or 24+ if it's like college/university.
Other than having graduated from the academy and being kinda tricked to going on the boat, there's nothing more on your backstory or family.
Maybe it's all just a throwaway back story, but I find it interesting to think about.
